Port Williams Nova Scotia

Port Williams, the biggest little port in the world, was founded in 1760 and incorporated in 1951. It was, and still is, largely an agricultural community.

Port Williams is on the Cornwallis River, and close to the Minas Basin. If you enter Port Williams by the bridge which crosses the Cornwallis you can stop and catch an amazing view of the Minas Basin and the wharf. The wharf was essential to shipping industry in Port Williams early days.

Today Port Williams has a population of almost 1000 and is growing. With its beautiful scenery, great school, and closeness to all major necessities it makes a great place to live or visit.
