Just outside Annapolis Royal, in Upper Clements, is Upper Clements Parks. The area is broken into two complimentary parks, the Theme Park and the Adventure Park.
Some of the major highlights at the amusement park are the roller coaster and water flume ride. But there are many other rides for all visitors. For the kids there is the carousel, airplanes, and little bumper boats. There is also a whole children's area which has a wading pool, playground and a mini golf course. In case you are not a rides kind of person, there are other fun things to do. You could take a leisurely ride in the pedal boats, or take a trip around the park on the Evangeline train.
Besides the rides and attractions there are also neat shops and eateries. The park also puts on regular entertainment during the season including musical acts.
The Adventure Park opened in June 2012. It is made up of elevated challenge courses and ziplines.
They offer Team Building exercises where teams will have to communicate and solve problems to make it through the course.
The parks are owned and operated by a non profit group. Upper Clements Parks is a big tourist draw to the Valley which brings in millions of dollars to the local area each season. They also employ around 150 people each year as well.
